Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) – Albuquerque police has made an arrest for a murder that happened in August during a home invasion near Los Altos Golf Course. 41-year old Daniel Rivera, a convicted felon, is charged with shooting and killing Alfonso Romero after police say he broke into Romero’s home on Copper Avenue and demanded money and drugs. Rivera, is also accused of beating a woman who arrived at the residence during the home invasion, as well as robbing another woman who was inside. Another man inside the apartment, was shot but survived his injuries. Rivera remains without bond on an open count of murder at the Metropolitan Detention Center.
