Rio Rancho, NM (KKOB) – The Rio Rancho Public Schools board will vote tonight on who will be the districts next superintendent. This will be the first time in 30 years that a new superintendent will take over the leadership of the district. Current superintendent, Sue Cleveland will be retiring.
The three finalists were announced last week and they are:
- Dr. Robby Dodd, who is the current director for Montgomery County Schools in Rockville, Maryland
- Todd Resch, the current Rio Rancho Public Schools athletics director
- Dr. Heather Sanchez, the chief operating officer for Bellevue School District in Bellevue, Washington
The announcement will be made at tonight’s board meeting, scheduled for 5:30 p.m. at the Rio Rancho Public Schools board room.
