Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) – An arrest has been made in connection with two violent shootings that happened in recent days in Albuquerque, among them, the murder of a woman last week. Jevon Thomas, 28, is jailed on multiple charges including an open count of murder and armed robbery with a deadly weapon.
Thomas, is charged with the murder of a woman whose body was found in the area of Carlisle around Montgomery and I-25. The woman died of a gunshot wound to the chest when officers arrived on the scene. Thomas allegedly shot a man a few days later about a mile from where the woman was killed. The man told police he didn’t know who the shooter was. He is hospitalized in critical condition at UNM-Hospital.
