Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — The City of Albuquerque is once again offering the free service at three locations throughout Albuquerque. The city recycles almost 5,000 trees each year creating mulch that’s then given to the public to be used in private gardens and landscaping projects. The drive through service begins December 29th and runs through January 11th. Trees can be dropped off from 8am to 4:30 at the Eagle Rock Convenience Center, Ladera Golf Course or Montessa Park Convenience Center.
