Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — A podcaster has resulted in a jury award being thrown out the door. A judge has overturned a multi-million dollar verdict against Presbyterian Health Services after it was revealed that a juror hosted a podcast expressing distrust in hospitals. Presbyterian lost a case for reportedly failing to diagnose a condition, resulting in an infant having brain damage. The juror in question hosted a podcast called “Freedom Speak,” where she stated that doctors were giving medical advice based on the interests of large corporations. The podcast led the judge to grant Presbyterian Health Services a motion for a new trial.
