Albuquerque, NM(KKOB)- A former student doctor has received a 30 year prison sentence for producing and possessing child sex abuse material.
According to federal court records, between June 2020, and February 2024, 29-year old Kevin Weiss, produced child sexual abuse imagery of a minor victim. Then from December 2023, and March 2024, Weiss possessed child sex abuse material involving prepubescent minors.
Weiss pled guilty to production of child pornography and possession of child pornography. Upon his release from prison, Weiss will be subject to 10 years of supervised release and must register as a sex offender.
The case was part of an Albuquerque Police Department investigation with assistance from Homeland Security Investigations, the New Mexico State Police, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
