Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — A petition challenging the legality of some of Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham’s line-item vetoes of a $161 million state spending bill was dismissed by the NM Supreme Court on Tuesday. The decision was unanimous with no explanation given by the high court to dismiss the lawsuit, which had specifically targeted partial vetoes made by the governor while signing a spending measure passed by lawmakers during an October special session.
