Albuquerque- A motorcyclist is dead after an accident Wednesday near the Journal Center in Northeast Albuquerque. Albuquerque Police Department’s Fatal Crash Unit continues investigating the accident today. According to police, a truck was exiting the parking lot in the area of Tiburon St and Headline Blvd, when it was hit by the motorcycle on the driver’s side. According to witnesses, the driver of the motorcycle “popped a wheely” and accelerated just before hitting the truck. The motorcyclist died at the scene, the driver was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the motorcycle has not been identified.
