The Federal Aviation Administration released the list of the 40 airports around the country which will see a 10% reduction in air traffic starting Friday. The Albuquerque Sunport is not on the list of airports affected.
Sunport spokesperson Diana López Rabadán, says the “Sunport is not experiencing mayor impacts to its operations and that TSA and FAA staffing levels remain stable” The FAA announced the reduction in air traffic on Wednesday and today announced the list of the 40 airports that will be affected by a 10% reduction including several regional airports where airlines fly to from Albuquerque.
