Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — New Mexicans will have a rare chance to hear directly from a former hostage of Hamas. Moran Stela Yanai, who was kidnapped during a music festival in Israel on October 7, 2023, and held for 54 days, will speak at the Santa Fe Jewish Center Chabad this Sunday, November 9, at 2 p.m. Rabbi Berel Levertov helped bring Yanai to New Mexico, calling her story one of survival and resilience. Extra security is planned for the event, and reservations are required.
