ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Small businesses in Albuquerque impacted by vandalism can once again apply for financial assistance through the city’s window repair grant program.
The program offers reimbursement for up to 80% of window replacement or repair costs, with a maximum of $3,000 per business. An additional $1,000 is available for projects that use environmentally sustainable “green” glass or security glass, bringing the potential total to $4,000.
To qualify, incidents must have occurred on or after July 1, 2025, and applicants must submit documentation including a police report and timestamped photos of both the damage and completed repairs. Businesses must also complete a mandatory APD Business Crime Prevention Security Survey.
Priority will be given to businesses located in Pockets of Poverty. Eligible applicants include:
- Brick-and-mortar businesses with 25 or fewer employees
- 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(6) nonprofit organizations
- Educational entities located within city limits
