Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — A man is now facing a kidnapping charge for his alledged involvement in what police believe is a stash house for migrants in southwest Albuquerque. The suspected kidnapper, Francisco Galvez was arrested after giving inconsistent answers to investigators about what was going on in the building.. Police found a note on Galvez that contained people’s names, destinations and their status, whether they were free or owed a certain amount of money. He denied any involvement in negotiations or kidnapping. Police first learned of the kidnappings when dispatch received a call from someone saying they’d been kidnapped and were going to be killed if they didn’t pay as much as $18,000.
