ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Albuquerque Police are investigating a shooting that left two people injured at a residence on Round Up Place SW.
Officers responded to the scene after reports of gunfire and found one person critically injured. That individual was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Shortly after, a second gunshot victim arrived at a hospital, also claiming to have been shot at the same location. Police say that person is in stable condition.
The Gun Violence Reduction Unit is now leading the investigation. No arrests have been announced, and the circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under review.
Authorities have not released the names of the victims. The investigation is ongoing.
