SANTA FE, N.M. — Homeowners, renters, and businesses in Lincoln and Doña Ana counties have until Wednesday, October 15 to apply for federal disaster assistance related to damage from severe storms, flooding, and landslides that occurred between June 23 and August 5.
Residents can apply online at DisasterAssistance.gov or through the FEMA mobile app. Assistance is also available by calling the FEMA Helpline at 800-621-3362, open daily from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. MT. Spanish and other language support is available.
The deadline also applies to long-term disaster loans from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). Applications can be submitted at SBA.gov/disaster, or by calling 800-659-2955.
In-person help is available at two Disaster Recovery Centers, both open until 6 p.m. today:
