ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Residents and business owners in Lincoln and Doña Ana counties have until October 15 to apply for federal disaster assistance following severe storms, flooding, and landslides that occurred between June 23 and August 5.
Homeowners, renters, and businesses can apply for aid through FEMA at DisasterAssistance.gov or its Spanish-language site DisasterAssistance.gov/es. Applications are also accepted via the FEMA mobile app or by calling the FEMA Helpline at 800-621-3362, available daily from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. MT. Language support is available—press 2 for Spanish, 3 for other languages.
The same deadline applies for long-term disaster loans from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). To apply, visit SBA.gov/disaster, call 800-659-2955, or email DisasterCustomerService@sba.gov.
