Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — New speed cameras have gone live on Central and San Pedro, monitoring both eastbound and westbound lanes. The city now has 22 cameras in all with plans to add more on Lead Ave., Coors Blvd., Eubank, Tramway and Carlisle. The city says since installing the cameras three years ago speeding has gone down anywhere from 42% to nearly 90% depending on the location.
