Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –Judge Cindy Leos has sentenced Alexander Segura-Ortiz to life in prison. In August, a jury found Ortiz guilty of first-degree murder for the death of Alianna Farfan. According to court documents, he shot Farfan during an argument inside a bedroom. Police said Ortiz escaped by jumping out of a window. Days after that incident, Ortiz was accused of shooting and killing Nicole Maldonado at the Adam Food Market.
