Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — Santa Fe County is launching an appointment-based voting system for the 2025 regular local election, the first of its kind in New Mexico. Voters can choose an early voting site and schedule a time to cast their ballot, aiming to reduce wait times and improve convenience. County Clerk Katherine Clark says the move is part of efforts to empower voters and increase participation. The system is optional and does not replace traditional walk-in voting, which will still be available at all polling places.
