
Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –Ahead of the upcoming election the City of Albuquerque is launching a sign awareness campaign, to help residents and campaigns understand the rules for temporary yard signs. Residents are reminded that: Signs can be posted from September 5th, and up to 10 days after election day. They cannot be placed in medians, sidewalks, public poles, parks, bridges or clear-sight areas at intersections. Signs can be placed on private property, only with the owner’s permission . And remember, one sign per property, no taller than 4 ft. above a wall, or 8 ft. total without a wall. Also, the signage area cannot exceed 16 sq. ft.
