ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Albuquerque police are investigating a deadly shooting that claimed the life of a 17-year-old male late Tuesday night in northeast Albuquerque.
Officers responded to a ShotSpotter activation at 9:46 p.m. at an apartment complex located at 557 Tramway Blvd. NE, near Copper Avenue. The teen was found dead at the scene from a gunshot wound.
APD homicide detectives are leading the investigation. No suspect information has been released, and police have not confirmed what led to the shooting.
