Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — The UNM Hospital Dermatology Clinic is one of the only clinics in New Mexico offering phototherapy for patients with psoriasis and other chronic inflammatory skin conditions, life cutaneous T-cell lymphoma. Now with the facility’s newly expanded Mohs surgery and procedural suite they’ll be better equipped to help New Mexicans facing skin cancer. Mohs micrographic surgery is a specialized procedure which allows specially trained surgeons to remove skin cancer layer by layer, preserving healthy tissue while ensuring that all cancerous cells are eliminated.
