ALBUQUERQUE — Military veterans, National Guard, Reserve, and active-duty service members will receive free admission to the New Mexico State Fair on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, in honor of Military & Veterans Day.
Presented by the New Mexico Department of Veterans’ Services (NMDVS) and the New Mexico National Guard (NMNG), the event recognizes the service and sacrifice of those who have served — and continue to serve — in the United States Armed Forces.
The State Fair will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday. Free admission is available to:
- Veterans, Guard/Reserve members, and retirees with a valid military or veteran ID, VA Health Card, or veteran-designated driver’s license
- Active-duty personnel with a Uniformed Services ID Card
Note: Free admission applies only to service members. Spouses and family members must pay regular admission, and parking fees still apply.
A special ceremony will take place at 11 a.m. at the Pavilion Stage, followed by a showcase of booths, displays, and information tables hosted by NMDVS, NMNG, the VA, veterans’ service organizations, and community groups until 3 p.m.
