ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Albuquerque Public Schools police are investigating damage at Dolores Gonzales Elementary School after several windows were struck over the Labor Day weekend.
According to a letter sent to families on Tuesday, September 2, the damage appears to have been caused by bullets. No students or staff were on campus at the time, and no injuries were reported.
The school district has not confirmed whether the damage was the result of gunfire or another form of vandalism. APS police are continuing to investigate.
