Albuquerque, N.M. – The University of New Mexico has closed the Cornell Parking Structure on its main campus for the entire day Wednesday, citing a construction-related safety concern. The closure was announced overnight, but university officials have not released specific details about the issue.
Vehicles currently parked inside the structure are allowed to exit, but no new entries are permitted.
UNM is asking the public not to contact campus police for updates. The university has not indicated when the structure will reopen.
