Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — A woman has been arrested for the murder of an Albuquerque man in 2023. Marisa Chavez was arrested by Kansas City International Airport police on Saturday on a warrant. She was booked and remains in the Platte County Detention Center. According to NM Court documents Chavez and Bryan Perello are accused of killing Adam Duarte at his home in NW Albuquerque. Chavez is charged with an open count of murder and conspiracy. Perello was also arrested and charged with first-degree murder, conspiracy, tampering with evidence, and shooting a dwelling or occupied building.
