ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle Tuesday night in southwest Albuquerque.
The crash happened around 8:30 p.m. near Central Avenue and 86th Street SW. Emergency crews responded to the scene, and the Albuquerque Police Department’s fatal crash unit took over the investigation about an hour later.
No other details have been released, including the identity of the victim or whether the driver remained at the scene. Police say the investigation into what led up to the crash is ongoing.
