Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office is rolling out a new suite of AI-powered tools aimed at improving efficiency and transparency. The technology, developed by Axon, includes features like automatic transcription, real-time translation, and AI-assisted report writing. Sheriff John Allen says the tools will help deputies work smarter and respond faster. A new AI use policy is also in place to ensure ethical and accountable implementation. The rollout begins later this year.
