The message, sent by board member Heather Benavidez’s husband, insulted Vice President Courtney Jackson. Benavidez responded to the message and later said the exchange was private and captured without her consent. Jackson called the comments disappointing and said no apology has been made. APS leadership says the issue will be addressed through board procedures.
