
Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — Its deadly to be a pedestrian in New Mexico. Once again the state is the worst in the country for those on foot. The most deadly area – Bernalillio County, in particular the stretch of Central from San Mateo to Eubank. Since 2018 there have been 40-fatalities. Last year in New Mexico more than 93-people were struck and killed by drivers. Forty six percent of those incidents involved alcohol. Fifty of those crashes happened in Bernalillo County.
