Albuquerque, NM — Albuquerque Police Department homicide detectives are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred early Sunday morning at the Sunpointe Park Apartments, located at 4015 Montgomery Blvd NE.
Officers were dispatched to the scene shortly before 4:00 a.m. after receiving reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found an 18-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite life-saving efforts by rescue personnel, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Homicide detectives have launched an investigation. No further details have been released at this time.
