Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office will be conducting DWI checkpoints and saturation patrols throughout July. From July 1st to the 31st, deputies will be targeting impaired drivers in an effort to reduce crashes and fatalities. The initiative includes both alcohol and drug-related enforcement. Authorities are urging residents to plan ahead, use rideshare services, and report suspected impaired drivers by calling 911.
