Snakes in the water

Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — Flooding in Roswell has created more than just water damage—rattlesnakes are now being spotted in the area. The Chaves County Sheriff’s Office says the recent moisture is drawing snakes out of hiding, particularly near bridges and low-lying areas. Residents are advised to stay alert and avoid walking through floodwaters.
