Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — A competency hearing is scheduled this week for Kerri Santos, the mother charged in connection with the death of her three-year-old daughter. Santos brought the child to UNMH in January 2024, claiming she had fallen at a gas station. Doctors said the child was already deceased. Investigators later uncovered allegations of sexual abuse involving all three of Santos’ children. Four people have been arrested in the case.
