Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — Good numbers from APD. The department has released preliminary crime statistics for the first quarter of 2025. The report reflecting significant decreases in property and violent crime categories. The statistics compare the first three months of 2024 to the same time period in 2025. Specifically, homicides were down 48%; shootings with injury were down 50%; and aggravated assaults were down 18%.
