Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — An aggressive, homeless panhandler is recovering after being shot in the leg near the Uptown Transit Center Wednesday. The man identified by police as Justyn McDaniel was demanding money from people in line at an ATM, and punched one in the face. Then he jumped on a car and kicked in the windshield when the driver refused him money. At that point, a woman in line pulled a gun and fired a warning shot. When that did not dissuade McDaniel, another customer pulled a gun and shot him in the leg. He’ll face felony charges when he’s released from the hospital.
