Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — Three suspects caught up in a multi-state fentanyl bust pled not guilty in federal court in Albuquerque Wednesday, with 2 more being held in custody. The group are tied to Mexican drug cartels, according to federal prosecutors, but they provided few details in court records. Acting DEA Administrator Derek Malz says the agency is going hard after this drug. This current operation in Western states, including New Mexico, has seized 4-million fentanyl pills, $4.4-million in cash and 41 weapons.
