Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — Expect Albuquerque to be on a list of sanctuary cities that President Trump has now ordered be published. He signed the executive order Tuesday, after a federal judge ruled his Administration cannot withhold funding to cities that do not cooperate in the apprehension of illegal immigrants. Albuquerque Mayor Tim Keller has previously said the immigrant-friendly policy adopted in 2018 can stand up to legal challenges. While not offering cooperation, the policy does not permit actions to obstruct any federal agents.
