Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — Tuesday, New Mexico State Police Investigations Bureau responded to a shooting at 5 Prairie Hill Road in Las Vegas. Officers found 20-year-old Trevor Szalai deceased at the scene after being shot. 21-year-old Cody Ramone, was found trying to provide aid. He was arrested on charges of second-degree murder. Investigators determined a verbal argument between Szalai and Ramone escalated to a physical fight, during which a shotgun was fired. The investigation is ongoing.
