Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — The most updated draft of UNM’s manual has done away with affirmative action and made some changes to UNM’s sexual assault policy. A spokesperson for the school said they had to make the changes based on the “technical requirements the school must follow with respect to its employment practices” on the heels of President Donald Trump’s executive order canceling affirmative action. Another change made is to their sexual harassment policy, replacing the term “sexual assault” with “sexual misconduct.”
