Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — Another parent in Espanola is facing charges because of fentanyl exposure to a child. 26-year-old Ariana Vigil was charged yesterday [WED] with reckless child abuse resulting in death after her 15-month-old daughter died Tuesday. State Police say the girl came upon a piece of foil her mother used when smoking the deadly drug. The toddler, as young kids do, put the foil in her mouth. This is the third recent incident in Espanola of parents being arrested after children became ill due to fentanyl exposure.
