TJ’s Seed Sack

TJ Trout here, and it’s spring Seed Sack time again…if you want to try your hand at growing a monster pumpkin, stop by Jericho Nursery on Alameda east of Second Street, register, and gently pick up one of my seed sacks…start ‘em indoors, or put ‘em in the ground when it warms up…then go to my page at newsradiokkob.com or to the Jericho Nursery page for handy helpful tips to grow a big one…

Also, a new category this year, the free-for-all! if you don’t want to use our seeds, you can use your own. We don’t care where you get them from…but you still need to register at Jericho! GOOD LUCK! The weigh-in and all the festivities are at El Pinto on Saturday, October 25th. May the best Seed Sacker win!

If you’d like to participate in the Seed Sack growing contest this year, but you want to use your own seeds, here’s your chance!  You will have your own separate category from everyone else,  and the winner gets a ‘Free-for-All’ trophy and prizes for the biggest pumpkin. But you need to register!  You can register here, or on the Jericho Nursery page, OR, you can go into Jericho Nursery on Alameda, east of 2^nd to sign up.
