Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — The start of April means water restrictions are back in place in Bernalillo County. The Water Authority reminds homeowners you can’t use sprinklers or spray irrigation between the hours of 11 AM and 7 PM due to excessive evaporation, meaning it wastes water. Fines can be assessed for violations. On the other hand, the Water Authority also offers a $20 bill credit for attending an online “Water Smart” class.
