Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — A bill to expand New Mexico’s Red Flag Law to allow police to file petitions to remove guns, and to have that done immediately passed the State Senate and heads to the Governor’s desk. The vote was 23 to 15 to expand the Red Flag Law. House Bill 12 was one of Governor Lujan Grisham’s priorities to be passed before the legislative session ends on Saturday.
