Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — Honda owners are being warned by Albuquerque Police, their cars are becoming the favorites of thieves. APD reports an uptick in thefts of Honda CIVICS, with CRV’s and Accords also being targeted. Many of those have been taken from apartment complexes in the northeast and Foothills areas, including Tramway, Wyoming and Montgomery Boulevard. 36 Hondas were stolen this year through mid-February, triple the number from the year before.
