Center of the scandal

Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — The New Mexico Supreme Court is giving the attorney in the Albuquerque police DWI scandal until February 10th to make his case why he should not be disciplined. Thomas Clear III, is at the center of the scandal, where his clients paid money to have police officers not show up for DWI hearings so their cases would be dropped. The high court’s order follows that of a District Judge, who gave Clear 30 days to submit in writing why he should keep his license to practice law.
