Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — Saturday’s death of a man in La Puebla – just outside Santa Fe – is being investigated as a possible hit-and-run. 43-year-old Carlos Maestas went for a walk on Lower East Firehouse Road and was later found lying in the roadway with critical injuries. He later died at a hospital. His injuries, including head trauma, may have been caused by a vehicle crash, but it’s uncertain. Both traffic and homicide investigators are looking into the death.
