Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — A new estimate on state revenues shows lawmakers will have $170-million more to spend in the upcoming legislative session than previously believed. The projection has nearly $830-million in what’s considered “new money” above current spending levels. The better-than-forecast income is due mostly to the ongoing increase in oil and gas revenues.
