Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — First responders from across central New Mexico will participate in a full-scale emergency drill Wednesday evening in Albuquerque aboard the New Mexico Rail Runner Express. The exercise will simulate a railway disaster, with responders from Santa Fe to Belen testing their skills in triage and rescue. Volunteer victims will be placed in the cars to aid in realistic training. The event, sponsored by the New Mexico Rail Runner, begins at 7:00 PM near the Downtown Albuquerque Railyards.
