Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — Albuquerque Fire Rescue responding to a residence blaze on San Jacinto Avenue Sunday night found a houseful of cats. Fire crews were able to get the fire under control quickly, and remove the people inside without injury. However, of the more than a dozen cats inhabiting the building 12 received treatment and survived, but the others couldn’t be saved. There was extensive damage to the home.
