Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — New Mexico breweries scored medals at the American Beer Festival in Denver this week. The competition was broken down by category, and in the Sweet Stout or Cream Stout Category, New Mexico breweries almost dominated. Tractor Brewing won gold with their Mustachio Milk Stout and Boxing Bear’s Chocolate Milk Stout took home the silver. ‘Quarter Celtic’s Vienna Fest Bier took home the gold in the Vienna-Style Lager category. There were more than 300 entries in this years competition.
